DeLovell “D” Earls Bio
I’m Coach DeLovell “D” Earls, and I grew up playing soccer until I hit my stride with basketball. In my junior year, I led the Colorado Springs School to its first 2A State Championship and was named Colorado’s 2A Mr. Basketball. After high school, I continued my playing career at the United States Air Force Academy Prep School before attending the Academy. As a two-time team captain, I built my reputation on leadership, toughness, and a high basketball IQ while competing against top-tier programs. My journey from picking up a basketball to becoming a state champion to earning a Division I scholarship demonstrates my deep commitment to discipline, development, and performing under pressure.
As a coach, I’ve served as both a Head Coach at the high school level and an Assistant Coach at the USAFA Prep School. My focus is to develop complete players, both on the court and beyond. I design skill-based training, teach game fundamentals that translate to real competition, and build confidence through structure and accountability. My approach blends high-level playing experience with intentional coaching to help athletes sharpen their skills, elevate their decision-making, and grow into confident, impactful players in competitive environments.
